About the Author
I was diagnosed with type I bipolar disorder when I was 15. Over 20 psych meds, six therapists, and three hospitalizations later, I’m learning to thrive in spite of this illness. Navigating mental illness and the mental health industry has been an ongoing journey. I am living, coping, creating, and planning my wedding to my fiancé, Big Bee. This blog is for people who are surviving mental illness, who want to thrive with mental illness, who are newly diagnosed and can’t see a light at the end of all this, and for people who have been struggling for years…this blog is for you.
